How to find us

Public Transport

The nearest station is Hitchin and is approximately 5-10 minutes’ walk from the hospital. Turn right out of the station along Station Approach. Just before the main road turn left up Burton’s Path which brings you to Benslow Rise. Walk along Benslow Rise until you reach Benslow Lane and then continue up the hill to Pinehill Hospital.

By Road

From Stevenage come on the A602 and at the welcome to Hitchin sign turn right up Whitehill Road which has speed bumps. At the top of the road is a small triangle one way system. Get into the right hand lane to go round the back of the houses and then get into the left hand lane and go down Highbury Road past the Girls’ School and down the hill over the speed bumps. At the bottom turn right before the zebra crossing.
From the A505 (Luton direction) follow the road until the Hitchin football ground. Turn right at this roundabout onto Fishponds Road. Carry on over 2 mini-roundabouts and turn right at the 3rd roundabout up Verulam Road. Over the next roundabout and left after the zebra crossing.
From the A505 (Letchworth direction) follow this road past Hitchin Railway station until you reach a roundabout. Turn left and immediate left after the zebra crossing.
The turn after the zebra crossing is Benslow Lane. Go up the road until it narrows and Pinehill is on the right after the road widens again.
